Also called Oakville Arena · Trafalgar Park · Trafalgar Park Community Centre arena
THE PAD'S PUBLISHED NAME IS 'OAKVILLE ARENA' AND THE BUILDING IS 'TRAFALGAR PARK COMMUNITY CENTRE'. That is a genuine hazard for any fuzzy name match across a provincial catalogue - a pad called 'Oakville Arena' reads like a complex. The Town's booking system dodges it by calling the bookable facility simply 'Arena' at location 'Trafalgar Park Community Centre-133 Rebecca'; both associations dodge it by calling the venue 'Trafalgar Park'. NHL sheet, 200 by 85 ft, with a distinctive wooden roof truss system - this is the old town arena and the truss is the local identifier. SEASONAL: closed April to September per the booking system, contradicting the web page's year-round claim. Only 80 in stands, the smallest spectator capacity in Oakville; the operator's capacity line confusingly appends 'This is an NHL size rink with capacity of 160', which is the ON-ICE participant limit, not seating. At-glass bench seating and wheelchair-accessible viewing areas; 2 referee change rooms (player change rooms are not stated). Skate and helmet rentals are available to permit holders on request but must be asked for at time of booking, at regular rental rates. DO NOT CONFLATE with the separate REFRIGERATED OUTDOOR RINK at Trafalgar Park, which runs roughly mid-December to March and is out of scope per contract 3.
