Alliston Memorial Arena
49 Nelson Street
No ice
The building is open and rentable, but the ice has been taken out. Hockey is not scheduled here. NOT CLOSED AS A BUILDING - closed as an ICE venue. The Alliston Memorial Arena "features a year round indoor dry pad floor" and is used for ball hockey, pickleball (five marked courts) and events. It has no ice pad in any season: the Town's PerfectMind catalogue lists only Floor Pad, Hall/Event Space and pickleball resources for this location, and the facility page never mentions ice. This is a permanent dry-floor conversion of the kind that produces false positives in every arena-name-matching source (catalogue s.4.1, Children's Arena in Oshawa). The row is kept precisely so the building is not re-discovered as ice by a future pass.
