  About this pad

SPONSOR NAME. The Town of Aurora publishes no pad names anywhere on its site - not on the facility page, not in the arena fee schedule - so the only naming authority is the associations. Aurora Minor Hockey writes 'Aurora CC (1 - McAlpine Ford)'; Newmarket Minor Hockey and EGMHA write plain 'ACC1'/'ACC Pad 1'. The NUMBER is the stable identifier and the dealership name is the rotating overlay. Home of the Aurora Tigers Jr. A; the Town does not say which pad they play on. ICE SEASON NOT CHECKED: no ice-in/ice-out statement was found from the operator, so is_seasonal is null rather than false.

  About this pad

SPONSOR NAME, and a notable one: the same dealer group holds both pads under two of its marques (Ford and Lincoln), so a single sponsor change would rename both pads in this building at once. ICE SEASON NOT CHECKED: no ice-in/ice-out statement was found from the operator, so is_seasonal is null rather than false.
