  About this pad

The City's arena page names the two surfaces 'Pad One' and 'Pad Two'; the PerfectMind booking catalogue calls them 'Lindsay Ice Pad 1' and 'Lindsay Ice Pad 2'; the hall-rental page writes 'PAD 1'. Three forms from one operator. The Ice Facility Allocation Directive confirms the two-pad rule: 'All rentals on Pad 1 shall commence on the hour and half hour (1/2) mark' while Pad 2 rentals start on the quarter and three-quarter hour, with the flood for either pad at the top of each hour - so a Lindsay start time is genuinely pad-dependent. Ice season not established per-pad. The City states 'Ice surfaces are available to rent all year long at locations servicing ice during April through August' and 'During the off season (April through August). Many ice surfaces are used as Arena Floors' - i.e. SOME pads hold ice year-round and some do not, and the City does not say which. is_seasonal is therefore NULL (not checked), never false.
