Also called Rock rink
85 ft by 180 ft. This is the original 1977 single-pad St. Marys Area Arena surface, renamed when the building was twinned in 2006. Home ice for the St. Marys Jr. B Lincolns, and the town says it is normally the first pad installed and the last removed each year. The enclosed licensed second-floor viewing area overlooks this rink. Town publishes 1400 spectator seats, 11 dressing rooms and 2 referee rooms for the arena as a whole rather than per pad. Ice season begins on or near September 1 and ends when playoffs and tryouts finish in the spring.
Also called Blue rink · Blue Pad
85 ft by 180 ft. Built in the 2006 twinning, deliberately sized to match the original pad rather than to NHL dimensions. Town publishes 1400 spectator seats, 11 dressing rooms and 2 referee rooms for the arena as a whole rather than per pad. Town states both pads were built to Hockey Canada standards. Ice season begins on or near September 1 and ends when playoffs and tryouts finish in the spring.
