180 by 80 ft - the booking system itself flags it as 'slightly smaller than most'. With Maple Grove this is one of the two smallest sheets in Oakville: twenty feet short and five feet narrow against NHL. That is a real playing difference for a team that trains at Sixteen Mile - the boards come up fast, and the corners are tight. SEASONAL: closed April to September per the booking system, contradicting the web page's year-round claim. Only 4 change rooms plus 2 referee rooms, the fewest of any Oakville arena, which constrains what size of tournament can run here. WOODEN bench seating for 250 - Maple Grove, the otherwise identical sister rink, has PLASTIC bench seating, and that is the only published difference between the two buildings. Stand-alone single-pad neighbourhood arena with no attached community centre and no published hours. The name is Kinsmen-derived: 'Kin' plus 'Oak'. Both associations address it by building name with no pad qualifier - the building name IS the pad name in scheduling practice.
