It was resolved on 2026-09-09 without one, by diffing two Internet Archive snapshots of the Town's OWN facility page. In the 2019-08-24 snapshot the page opens 'Looking to rent ICE OR FLOOR surface...' and the amenity list contains both 'Arena Ice Pads' and 'Arena Floors'. In the 2026-01-19 snapshot the same page opens 'Looking to rent FLOOR surface for hockey, camps, lacrosse, roller hockey or a special event' and the amenity list contains 'Arena Floors' with 'Arena Ice Pads' REMOVED. The description sentence 'The Village Arena offers one (1) North American size ice pad (185' x 85')' was left behind unedited, and that orphaned sentence is the entire reason the venue looked contested. Corroborated three ways: ajax.ca states 'The Town of Ajax has one Arena'; the ACC is the only building in the 2026 ice rate tables; and the Town's ActiveNet tenant, swept over center_ids 1-250, contains no Village Arena resource of any kind. is_operating: false means 'has no ice', not 'demolished' - the building operates as a floor arena.
