Wellesley, ON · Township of Wellesley · Municipal
Wellesley Arena
1004 Catherine Street
Closed
Closed with no announced reopening. Closed 2023 when the new Wellesley recreation complex opened. The arena and community centre buildings STILL STAND and have not been demolished; the Township is running a land-reimagining process for the ~16-acre property (also holding the old fire hall, diamonds, playground, splash pad, skate park, soccer fields). A 2019 council resolution requires land south of a potential Maple Leaf Street extension to remain recreational.
