Windsor Arena

Closed with no announced reopening. Formally closed. A City advisory committee existed solely to plan an event commemorating the arena's formal closure; Council disbanded that committee on 6 October 2014 (M393-2014). The City's own record describes it as a 1924 building and 'the second oldest known arena in North America'. It was the long-time home of the Windsor Spitfires before the WFCU Centre opened. Retained because older schedules, directories and hall-of-fame records still reference it.
