This building is gone. It is kept here because older schedules still name it. DEMOLISHED / GONE - this is the true closed case, as distinct from the several "open but no ice" rows elsewhere in this file. The Town describes "the former Memorial Arena site" as a "vacant municipal property" of 1.48 acres in the downtown core, and on 3 March 2026 Council ratified advancing its redevelopment into two multi-unit residential buildings of 90-108 units with Greystone Project Management, the District Municipality of Muskoka and Habitat for Humanity Ontario Gateway North. Its replacement is the Muskoka Lumber Community Centre. No arena will exist here again.
