  About this pad

The City of Timmins publishes NO pad count, NO ice dimensions, NO seating figure and NO dressing-room count for any of its arenas, on either the facility pages or the booking system. One pad is recorded because the booking system exposes exactly one bookable ice resource for this building, named 'Arena floor & Ice Surface'. The pad name here is the building name; the operator does not name the surface. IMPORTANT: Mountjoy Arena is ABSENT from the City's ice-rentals page, which names only McIntyre, Whitney and Archie Dillon. It IS present on the City's skating page and IS present as a bookable ice resource ('Arena Floor and Ice Surface') in the City's Univerus booking system. Recorded as operating on the strength of the booking system. The site also has two unsupervised OUTDOOR rinks, which are out of scope. Timmins Minor Hockey independently lists this arena with the postal code P4N 8J9 and its own phone number 705.360.2655, neither of which appears on any City page, plus a snack bar and NO pro shop, and describes its programs as seasonal.

Known gap

Mountjoy Arena is omitted from the City's own ice-rentals page but present in its skating page and its booking system. Its operating status rests on the booking system.
