Nibinamik First Nation arena

Not open yet

This arena has been announced but is not built. It may already appear on next season's schedule. NEVER COMPLETED, NOT CLOSED. Wawatay News reports 'the arena structure is built in Nibinamik, but a concrete pad must be laid and the synthetic ice itself purchased and installed', with an Aviva Community Fund campaign raising money for construction materials and northern shipping (about 2013). The planned surface was SYNTHETIC panel ice - neither refrigerated nor natural. No later source confirms the ice was ever installed. This row exists specifically because CONTRACT.md section 8.13 has no 'planned' lifecycle state: is_operating false here means A BUILDING THAT HAS NEVER OPENED, which is a completely different fact for a parent than a demolished arena.
